Russian diplomat accuses West of ignoring alleged Ukrainian strikes on nuclear facilities

Rodion Miroshnik, a Russian diplomat, has said that Western countries continue to overlook strikes carried out by the Ukrainian military on nuclear facilities, according to Russian state media.

Miroshnik argued that the West remains unaware of the risk of becoming complicit in what he described as "nuclear terrorism" tied to the Kyiv government, framing the issue as one Western governments have so far declined to address directly.

The claims form part of a broader pattern of statements from Russian officials accusing Ukraine and its Western backers of downplaying incidents at nuclear-related sites during the ongoing war.

Neither Ukrainian officials nor Western governments had issued an immediate public response to Miroshnik's remarks. The statement was reported by TASS, a Russian state news agency.
