Russia resumed strikes on Kyiv late Monday after a three-day pause ordered by President Vladimir Putin expired, Ukraine's emergency service said. Kyiv's city military administration reported at least two people killed and seven wounded in the strikes.
The halt coincided with visits to Moscow and Kyiv by US President Donald Trump's envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who were holding talks aimed at ending the war.
