UK: MPs call for fake fur caps for royal guards

According to RFI, a cross-party group of eighteen British MPs has asked the Defence Secretary to replace these traditional military caps with synthetic alternatives, which are considered more ethical.
This initiative is part of a long-standing debate over the use of animal fur in the manufacture of these iconic caps, worn particularly by the Foot Guards regiments during official ceremonies.
