The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) has warned supporters that their personal information may have been stolen by hackers, according to The Guardian.
The Guardian reported the warning came in a letter accompanying the charity's autumn Lifeboat magazine, which said members' "name, contact details and records of interactions with the RNLI" could have been exposed in a breach of a company used for customer relationship management.
The Guardian noted the data breach comes amid targeting of the charity by far-right agitators who object to its migrant boat rescue operations.
