PTA Releases Quality of Service Survey Results for Cellular Networks
Regulator publishes findings covering cities, rural areas and Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan under 2021 QoS regulations
ISLAMABAD, Sep 18 (APP) — The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has published the results of its Quality of Service (QoS) survey for the second quarter, covering the period from April to June, according to a statement from the authority.
The survey covered cities, focused and rural areas, as well as Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K) and Gilgit Baltistan (GB), the PTA said.
The assessment was conducted under the Cellular Mobile Network QoS Regulations 2021 and evaluated all cellular mobile operators, according to the authority.
The PTA did not provide further details in the statement regarding specific performance metrics or comparative rankings of individual operators.
