Chambers is sought by Washington to face trial over alleged support for Hamas, according to the report, which said his attorneys submitted a brief ahead of a decisive government meeting this month. His partner, actor and activist Stella Schnabel, met with Spanish parliament members to assert his innocence, according to the report.
