The political comeback season got underway this past weekend for several parties in preparation for the 2027 presidential election, according to reporting published by Le Monde.
The Reconquest movement held a rally in Port-Marly, in the Yvelines department, drawing fewer than 2,000 activists around Eric Zemmour and Sarah Knafo, according to Le Monde.
For her part, Marine Le Pen, the National Front's candidate, is expected early in the afternoon, around 2:30-3 p.m., in her stronghold of Hénin-Beaumont, in the Pas-de-Calais, according to the same source.
Her remarks come on the heels of a working weekend held behind closed doors with RN lawmakers at Le Touquet, again according to Le Monde.
These events mark the beginning of a political comeback season for several parties as they gear up for the 2027 presidential contest.
