According to the newspaper, Jean-Luc Mélenchon and Fabien Roussel were scheduled to attend the Festival of "L'Humanité," a traditional gathering of the French left. Meanwhile, Bruno Retailleau was expected to appear alongside Young Republicans, the youth movement of the Les Républicains party.

Le Monde also notes that former Socialist president François Hollande, who has not officially announced his candidacy but whom the newspaper describes as "in campaign mode more than ever," was scheduled to visit Frangy-en-Bresse in Saône-et-Loire to participate in the traditional Festival of the Rose organized by the Socialist Party.

Furthermore, National Rally deputies were set to gather Saturday in Le Touquet in Pas-de-Calais, according to information reported by Le Monde.
