The Agronomic Research Institute held its Annual Programme of Research Work review for the Rabi 2026-27 season at the Ayub Agricultural Research Institute (AARI) in Faisalabad, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).

The meeting examined proposed research trials and aimed to improve coordination among scientists, universities, private companies and farmers, APP reported.

The programme was chaired by AARI Chief Scientist for Agriculture Research, Dr Sajid-ur-Rehman, according to APP.
