The authority's National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) issued the alert on Friday, citing the possibility of heavy rain, thunderstorms and flash floods in upper regions between September 25 and 30. The centre urged relevant authorities to ensure advance preparations are in place and to keep emergency response resources ready.
