Pakistan's Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch retired from her position on Wednesday, according to a report by the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar had earlier announced that Ambassador Amna Baloch would be replaced by Ambassador Asim Iftikhar, the report said.
Ambassador Asim Iftikhar was currently serving as Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, according to APP.
