Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar expressed condolences over the death of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan.
Sheikh Ahmed was the brother of the UAE's vice president and prime minister, and ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the agency reported.
Dar said he was "deeply saddened" by the passing, according to the report.
