Pakistan's Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal called for strengthening the country's manufacturing base, enhancing productivity and promoting export-oriented industries, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).
Speaking at the Pakistan International Auto Show at the expo center in Lahore on Sunday, Iqbal said the automotive industry has a role to play in improving the national economy, APP reported.
