The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority has seized more than 2,000 kilograms of spices, starch, milk, packaging material and other items from a unit allegedly involved in packing counterfeit branded spices and custard, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).
The seizure took place during an operation targeting the unit, which authorities say was engaged in packaging goods under counterfeit brand names, APP reported.
