Pakistan Army Says Mecca Defense Pact Aimed at 'Collective Deterrence,' Not Regional Ambitions

Pakistan's military has said a recently signed defense agreement referred to as the "Mecca defense pact" is designed for "collective deterrence" and does not reflect any "regional aspirations," according to remarks attributed to army spokesman Lt.
