More than 280,000 Russian citizens living abroad took part in the country's recent elections, according to Ella Pamfilova, chair of Russia's Central Election Commission (CEC).
Pamfilova said 333 polling stations were opened in 152 countries to allow Russians residing outside the country to cast ballots, describing the network as part of the commission's effort to make voting accessible to citizens abroad.
