Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar said Sunday that more than 2.2 million people have signed up for the Prime Minister's Special Fuel Scheme, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).
Tarar, addressing a news conference, said the registrations highlight the scheme's successful rollout across the country, including in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, APP reported. He added that 92 percent of a further figure was reached, though the report did not specify what that percentage referred to.
