ONU : « Nous avons été victimes du terrorisme », affirme le président iranien
Massoud Pezeshkian a estimé que l'Iran avait été victime du terrorisme, en référence aux attaques américaine et israélienne contre son pays.
La 81e Assemblée générale des Nations unies se tient jusqu'au 28 septembre à New York. Après les discours de Donald Trump et d'Emmanuel Macron mardi, l'Iran a occupé ce mercredi le centre des préoccupations.
A la tribune, le président iranien Massoud Pezeshkian a estimé que son pays avait été « victime du terrorisme » avec l'attaque américaine et israélienne survenue plus tôt cette année.
Parmi les premiers dirigeants à prendre la parole ce mercredi, le président syrien Ahmed al-Charaa s'est également attaqué à Israël sans le nommer, en affirmant que « le Golan restera un territoire syrien ». L'Etat hébreu occupe ce territoire depuis 1967.
Ces prises de parole s'inscrivent dans une journée largement consacrée aux tensions régionales au Proche-Orient et à la place de l'Iran dans les relations internationales.
D'autres discours, notamment celui du président ukrainien Volodymyr Zelensky, ont également marqué cette deuxième journée de débats à l'Assemblée générale.
