Olid seeks recommendations as she prepares to explore Manchester

Manchester United manager Eva Olid has said she is "asking for recommendations" as she prepares to look around Manchester for the first time, using the current international break as an opportunity to explore the city.

Olid's comments suggest she has not yet had the chance to familiarize herself with Manchester since taking on her role with the club, and is using the pause in domestic fixtures to do so.

The international break gives clubs and their staff a window without competitive matches, which Olid appears to be using partly for this personal purpose alongside any coaching and preparation duties.

No further details were given about what specific recommendations Olid has received or where she plans to visit in the city.
