Christian Estrosi, maire de Nice et président de la métropole, fait l'objet d'une enquête pour détournement de fonds publics suite à un signalement d'Éric Ciotti. L'affaire porte sur des frais de représentation remboursés sans justificatif à l'ancien édile entre 2016 et 2025.
L'association Transparence citoyenne avait déjà déposé plainte en relevant plus de 312 000 euros de frais de représentation remboursés sans documentation au bénéfice de l'ancien maire affilié à Horizons.
