The NFL has fined San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk $14,926 for what the league classified as "engaging in offensive demonstrations," according to ESPN.

The fine stemmed from a touchdown celebration in which Juszczyk mimed chugging a beer, a gesture the league determined violated its rules on player conduct during games.

League's Conduct Rules

The NFL regularly reviews in-game celebrations and can issue fines when it judges a gesture to cross into territory it considers offensive or inappropriate, even when the celebration is not directed at an opposing player or official. Such fines are separate from penalties assessed on the field during a game.

ESPN's report did not specify which game or opponent was involved, nor whether Juszczyk plans to appeal the fine, an option available to players under the league's disciplinary process.

Juszczyk, a longtime fullback for the 49ers known for his blocking as well as occasional touchdown receptions, has not issued a public statement responding to the fine as of this report.
