Le maire de New York s'engage à publier des milliers de documents relatifs à la qualité de l'air suite aux attentats, dans le cadre d'un accord judiciaire.
Selon un accord avec une organisation de défense des victimes, la ville de New York diffusera des milliers de documents liés aux conséquences de l'effondrement des deux tours du World Trade Center sur la qualité de l'air. Le conseiller municipal Zohran Mamdani dénonce des dissimulations, affirmant que « des gens sont tombés malades parce que les dirigeants leur ont menti ».
Cet accord judiciaire intervient des années après les attentats du 11 septembre 2001, soulevant des questions sur la transparence des autorités concernant les risques sanitaires auxquels ont été exposés les New-Yorkais et les premiers intervenants.
