New Lawsuit Accuses Epstein Estate of Holding Child Sexual Abuse Material of 'Countless' Victims

A new lawsuit filed this week in the US district court for the southern district of New York alleges that Jeffrey Epstein possessed child sexual abuse material (CSAM) depicting two women who filed the complaint, according to court documents cited by The Guardian.

The plaintiffs, who are identified anonymously in the filing as survivors of Epstein's child sexual abuse material crimes, allege that Epstein's collection contained unlawful sexualized images of "countless children."

The lawsuit asks a judge to order the creation of a program designed to identify and notify all individuals whose images may have been included in Epstein's alleged collection of CSAM. The plaintiffs are also seeking monetary damages, according to the complaint.

The suit names Darren Indyke, Epstein's former lawyer, and Richard Kahn, Epstein's former accountant, as defendants. Both men are being sued in their capacities as co-executors of Epstein's estate, the filing states.

Attorneys for Indyke and Kahn did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the complaint, according to The Guardian. Both men have previously stated that they had no knowledge of Epstein's crimes during the course of their employment with him.

Epstein, a financier who was facing federal sex trafficking charges involving underage girls, died in a New York jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial. His death was ruled a suicide by the New York City medical examiner's office.
