New IGP Sohail Chaudhry takes command of Islamabad Police
Captain (Retd) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry formally assumed office as Inspector General of Islamabad Police on Tuesday.
Chaudhry outlined public safety, crime prevention and rule of law as priorities for his tenure, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan.
He pledged to improve service delivery and timeliness in response to citizen needs, the statement said.
