Israeli opposition leaders on Tuesday called Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu unfit to serve following a Haaretz report that the United Arab Emirates had warned him before the October 7 Hamas attack. According to the newspaper, which cited a forthcoming book by its reporters, UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan spoke to Netanyahu approximately one and a half weeks before the attack and told him that Hamas was planning a major operation.
The report has intensified scrutiny of Netanyahu's government's preparedness ahead of the attack that killed hundreds of Israelis and triggered the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
