Ms Rachel Talks Screen Time, Backlash and Advocacy in New Interview
The children's YouTube star, whose videos have amassed billions of views, told the Guardian her goal is 'to help kids and speak the truth' rather than be universally liked.
YouTube star Rachel Accurso, known as Ms Rachel, discussed screen time, ‘song fatigue’ and speculation that she might enter politics in an interview with the Guardian.
Accurso, a former preschool music teacher, said her comments on issues ranging from Gaza to LGBTQ rights have caused controversy, but that her goal ‘isn't to be the most liked’ but ‘to help kids and speak the truth,’ according to the Guardian.
She uploaded her first children's video, a counting song called Bubble, Bubble Pop!, seven years ago with her husband, Aron Accurso, a former Broadway music director, after their son had a speech delay, the Guardian reported.
