Meta Unveils $1,299 VR Glasses and Pocket-Sized Muse AI Device

Meta has unveiled a new pair of virtual reality glasses priced at $1,299, alongside a separate pocket-sized device called Muse Charm designed to give users voice access to the company's personal AI agent.

According to Anadolu Agency, Muse Charm is expected to begin shipping in December and is built to let users interact with Meta's AI assistant through voice commands without needing to open a dedicated app first.

Expanding Meta's Hardware Lineup

The new VR glasses add to Meta's growing portfolio of wearable hardware, as the company continues to push into both virtual and augmented reality alongside its consumer AI ambitions. The $1,299 price point positions the device at the higher end of the consumer VR market.

Muse Charm, meanwhile, represents a different approach to AI accessibility, aiming to make Meta's AI agent available through a compact, always-nearby form factor rather than requiring users to pick up a phone or headset to start a conversation with it.
