Jeremy Greenwood, a factional figure in New South Wales Liberal politics, has denied requesting to be fitted with a wire before a meeting with fellow Liberals and said he does not recall a plan to have YouTuber FriendlyJordies produce a negative documentary on a state minister, the Independent Commission Against Corruption heard Wednesday.
Greenwood characterized a request to be "wire[d] … for sound" before the meeting as "just a silly comment." The inquiry is examining his interactions and alleged coordination involving various political figures.
