Jeremy Greenwood told New South Wales' Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) on Wednesday that fugitive property developer Jean Nassif left him "high and dry" but he did not pursue payment because "it's how Jean does business." Greenwood denies that invoices for almost $1 million sent in a single day in September 2021 were "bogus accounts" used to conceal political donations.
Nassif, who appeared via video from Beirut on Monday and Tuesday, declared he was "not corrupt." The testimony is part of ICAC's ongoing investigation into potential impropriety involving political donations and payments.
