Lavrov Travels to Turkmenistan for CIS Foreign Ministers' Council

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has arrived in Turkmenistan to take part in a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), according to TASS.

The council brings together foreign ministers from CIS member states to discuss the bloc's cooperation and coordination over the preceding year. According to the report, ministers at the gathering are expected to summarize the preliminary results of the association's activities during 2026.
