Lambrini Girls return with new album, defying health setbacks

Lambrini Girls, the British punk duo of Phoebe Lunny and Selin Macireira-Boşgelmez, performed a surprise London show where they prioritized fan safety and community, inviting crowd surfers and asking attendees to look after one another in the moshpit. Lunny encouraged queer audience members to introduce themselves and stated "This show is as much yours as it is ours."

The band's return comes after health crises threatened their trajectory following their successful debut album, which charted and earned praise from punk legend Iggy Pop. Their new material takes aim at the manosphere, fascism, and the ruling class, delivered through their characteristic shouty vocals, furious beats, and sludgy grunge sound.
