KP Tourism Authority to Install Camping Pods at Three Northern Sites

PESHAWAR — The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has begun installing new camping pods at three sites in the province — Acharr Sar in Shangla, Laram Top in Lower Dir, and Beyun in Upper Swat — as part of an effort to expand local hospitality infrastructure and open previously unexplored tourist destinations, according to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA).

The development was shared by KPCTA Director General Shahid Khan Mohmand, according to a report by the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) dated September 15.

Mohmand said the initiative is intended to boost tourism facilities in the province by creating new accommodation options at scenic locations that have so far seen limited visitor infrastructure.
