Kashmir rights group urges UN to act on property seizures in Kupwara
The Kashmir Institute of International Relations called on the UN human rights office to intervene over reported property attachments in Kupwara, according to APP.
The Kashmir Institute of International Relations (KIIR) has urged the United Nations to intervene over the reported seizure of properties in Kachama, Kupwara, the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) reported.
KIIR, led by Chairman Altaf Hussain Wani, called on the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights to act, according to the report.
The group said the properties were attached under India's Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, APP said.
