Israeli Rights Group Accuses Government of Dismantling 'Palestinian Existence' in West Bank

The Israeli human rights organization B'Tselem said on Monday that Israeli actions in the occupied West Bank form part of what it described as a broader project designed to make it impossible for Palestinians to exist together as a people.

In a report titled "The Elimination Project," the group alleged that Israeli authorities employ five connected tactics and policies in the West Bank: violence, ethnic cleansing, movement restrictions, economic strangulation, and social and political destruction, according to B'Tselem.

The organization said these measures, taken together, constitute a deliberate strategy aimed at undermining Palestinian society and its ability to sustain a collective presence in the territory.
