Internal controversies over editorial pluralism remain unresolved at France Inter following the withdrawal of Charles Sapin, according to Le Monde.

Three weeks of labor conflict arose over the planned arrival of Sapin as deputy news director, a figure linked to the magazine Valeurs actuelles, and the dispute could leave lasting effects within Radio France, Le Monde reported.

The newspaper noted that part of the far-right Rassemblement National party used the episode to advocate for the ‘privatization’ of the public broadcasting group.
