Huawei unveils new SuperPoD system for large AI models
The Chinese technology company says the Atlas 960E SuperPoD is designed to speed up training and inference for very large AI models.
Huawei has launched a new computing system called the Atlas 960E SuperPoD, which the company describes as the first of its kind built on an NPO-based design, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan.
The system was unveiled at the Huawei Connect 2026 event and is intended to accelerate training and inference for AI models with as many as 10 trillion parameters, the report said.
APP did not provide further technical detail or a release date for the product beyond the announcement at the conference.
