Houthis Claim Strikes on Riyadh Target and Saudi Aramco Facility in Yanbu
Military spokesman Yahya Saree also said Saudi Arabia has carried out 1,018 air and missile strikes on Yemen since the escalation began.

Yemen's Houthi movement has claimed responsibility for strikes on a target in the Saudi capital Riyadh and on a Saudi Aramco facility in the Red Sea port city of Yanbu, according to TASS. The claim was made by Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree.
Saree also said that Saudi Arabia has carried out 1,018 air and missile strikes on Yemen since the escalation between the two sides began, according to the same report.
An Ongoing Cross-Border Conflict
The exchange of strikes described in the report reflects the continuation of hostilities between the Houthi movement and the Saudi-led coalition, which has intervened in Yemen's conflict for years. Houthi claims of strikes on Saudi territory and Saudi strikes on Yemen have both featured prominently in the group's public statements throughout the conflict.
TASS's report did not include independent confirmation of the claimed strikes on Riyadh or Yanbu, nor did it include comment from Saudi authorities on the Houthi claims. Further details are expected as both sides continue to issue statements on the conflict.
