A production of Samuel Beckett's Not I, directed by Rufus Norris and staged at the Minghella Theatre in Reading, has been reviewed by The Guardian as a "strange and deeply moving" take on the play.
According to The Guardian, the production isolates soprano Claire Booth's mouth against a black background to capture the racing mind of a desperate woman, with the performance held as part of the 2026 Beckett Biennale.
The Guardian reported that the evening opened with a broader three-part programme, including a performance of Luciano Berio's Sequenza III by Booth and short films about Beckett's connection to Folkestone, before culminating in the main drama.
