Greek police are investigating the death of an 82-year-old man following a brawl over a sunlounger at a beach on the Athenian riviera, the Guardian reported.

According to the report, the man arrived at the popular bathing spot of Vouliagmeni before 10am on Sunday hoping to secure a sunbed. He began arguing with another bather, described by authorities as a 76-year-old man previously unknown to him, after it became clear loungers were in short supply. The argument escalated into violence, the Guardian said.
