The film, made by Israeli filmmakers Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, focuses on the war in Gaza and its impact on civilians. It premiered at the Venice Film Festival earlier this month, where the Guardian reported it received a 25-minute standing ovation, described as a festival record, and went on to win the festival's special jury prize.
Distribution plans call for the documentary to open in cinemas in more than 50 territories worldwide ahead of its digital release on the Guardian's website.
