Findlay Curtis shines as Scotland's revamped youth set-up begins new era

Scotland's revamped youth football set-up got off to a promising start, with Rangers winger Findlay Curtis at the heart of an eye-catching display from the under-21s.

The performance came amid a raft of coaching changes across Scotland's youth development structure, as the federation looks to refresh its approach to developing young talent through the age-group ranks.

Curtis at the centre of attention

Curtis's display drew particular attention as a bright spot in the new-look setup, suggesting he could play a prominent role as the under-21s look to build on the changes introduced by the coaching staff.

The coaching overhaul reflects a broader effort within Scottish football to strengthen the pathway between youth and senior international football, with early performances from the under-21 group being closely watched as an early indicator of how the changes are bedding in.

With the new coaching structure now in place, attention will turn to upcoming fixtures to see whether the encouraging early signs from Curtis and his teammates can be sustained as the under-21s continue their campaign under the revamped set-up.
