FIFA chief Infantino's 'abuse of power' questioned in Norway complaints

Norway's football federation has filed three separate complaints asking FIFA's Ethics Committee to examine conduct by FIFA president Gianni Infantino, which the complaints characterize as an abuse of power.

The complaints were submitted by Norway's national football body, though specific details of the alleged conduct underlying each complaint were not fully outlined in available reporting.

FIFA's Ethics Committee is the body responsible for reviewing allegations of misconduct involving football officials, including the organization's own leadership, and determining whether further investigation or disciplinary action is warranted.

Infantino has led FIFA since 2016, and challenges to his conduct from member federations are relatively uncommon, making the filing of three separate complaints from a single national association notable within football governance circles.
