A wrongful death lawsuit filed Tuesday accuses Ken Paxton, the Texas attorney general, doctors and state health officials of contributing to the death of Tierra Walker, 37, a San Antonio woman whose family says was denied an abortion that could have saved her life. Walker died in December 2024 while 20 weeks pregnant after being diagnosed with pre-eclampsia, a dangerous pregnancy-related high blood pressure condition that can be fatal.
