The family of Nicholas Brandram has denied he was the so-called "Putney pusher" and stated he "took his own life after months of immense pressure caused by a Metropolitan police investigation." Brandram was found unresponsive inside a property in Chiswick, west London, on Tuesday evening, believed to be his home.
Brandram had been arrested in connection with incidents on a bridge but his family contests the police investigation, asserting there was no credible evidence linking him to the cases.
