Ex-CIA Director John Brennan Subpoenaed in DoJ Probe of Alleged Anti-Trump ‘Conspiracy’

Former CIA director John Brennan has been subpoenaed to testify before a federal grand jury in Florida next month, according to a court filing by one of his attorneys, as part of a Department of Justice investigation into alleged conspiracy against Donald Trump.

Ken Wainstein, an attorney representing Brennan, disclosed in the filing that prosecutors presented Brennan with the subpoena last Thursday. The subpoena directs Brennan to appear before a grand jury in Fort Pierce, Florida, on 15 October, Wainstein said.

According to the filing, the subpoena is among a number issued in recent weeks as part of a broader Justice Department inquiry examining whether former law enforcement and intelligence officials conspired against Trump.
