EU's Kallas urges Europe to impose 'greater cost' on Russia over hybrid attacks
The European Union's foreign policy chief called on European lawmakers to strengthen measures against Russian hybrid warfare.
Kaja Kallas, the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, told European Parliament members that "Putin will not stop unless he is stopped," according to Anadolu Agency. Kallas urged the bloc to impose a "greater cost" on Russia in response to hybrid attacks targeting European infrastructure and institutions.
The remarks come as European nations have reported increased incidents of sabotage and cyber operations attributed to Russian actors, including damage to undersea cables and other critical infrastructure across the continent.
