Estonia Accuses Russia of Ordering Arson Attack on Defence Firm Supplying Ukraine

Estonia has accused Russia of ordering an arson attack on Milrem Robotics, an Estonian defence company that supplies unmanned ground vehicles to Ukraine.

Estonian authorities say the attack, which took the form of a fire at the company's facilities in August, was carried out on the orders of Moscow, according to officials in Tallinn.

Milrem Robotics is known for producing unmanned ground vehicles used for logistics, reconnaissance and other military support functions, and has supplied such equipment to Ukraine as it continues to defend against Russia's invasion.

The accusation adds to a series of incidents across Europe in recent years that Western officials have linked to Russian state-directed sabotage efforts targeting companies and infrastructure connected to support for Ukraine's war effort.

Russia has not publicly responded to the specific allegation. Estonian authorities have not detailed the extent of damage caused by the August fire or the current status of their investigation into the incident.
