England Inflict Croatia's Heaviest-Ever Defeat With 7-0 Nations League Rout

England handed Croatia the heaviest defeat in the history of the Croatian national team, winning 7-0 in a UEFA Nations League match played in front of the home crowd.

Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka each scored twice in the rout, with the England forwards combining for four of the seven goals as the visitors overwhelmed their hosts from early in the match.

The result stands as the worst defeat in Croatia's footballing history, a notable marker for a national team that has historically been competitive on the international stage, including reaching major tournament finals and semifinals in recent years.

For England, the emphatic win extends a strong run of form and underlines the attacking quality the team currently possesses heading into its remaining Nations League fixtures. The scale of the victory is likely to be remembered as one of the standout results of this international window.
