Sheeran had faced calls for a boycott after rapper Macklemore was removed from the tour following pro-Palestinian statements he made on stage, The Guardian reported.
Sheeran said his "heart has been broken by the scale of devastation and loss of civilians' lives, of children's lives," and said he wanted his music and shows to focus on unity and humanity rather than politics, according to The Guardian.
