A study has found that eco-friendly moorings are helping seagrass meadows recover in Dorset's Studland Bay, the Guardian reported.
Scars left by traditional anchors have almost entirely disappeared in some areas since the eco-moorings were introduced, according to the study cited by the Guardian.
The recovery has also boosted numbers of seahorses, eels and crabs in the meadows, the report said.
